Set up in the summer of 2008 by the heathan trio of David H, Clemence LaChance and John Power, TLDOD began life in a basement in Shoreditch and hosted the likes of Damon Martin (Disco Bloodbath), Pete Herbert, Bill Brewster, The Romantic Motherfuckers and the launch party for Fred Deakin’s Nu-Balearica album.

After a brief hiatus the club moved north up the Kingsland Rd to a basement in Dalston and saw a packed club dancing through the night to DJs such as Andy Blake and Rory Phillips. Now in a new monthly slot and with a later licence, TLDOD continues to chart the evolution of disco from Donna Summer to The DFA and takes you into a parallel universe where dirty dubbed out disco rules the roost, the streets are paved with the shit from Bianca Jagger’s horse and the girl down the chip shop thinks she’s Grace Jones.

Previous guests have included: Andy Blake (Dissident), Bill Brewster (DJhistory), Capracara (DFA), Complexxion (Citinite), Damon Martin (Disco Bloodbath), Fred Deakin (Lemon Jelly), In Flagranti (Codek), Nadia Ksaiba (Say Yes), Nathan Gregpry Wilkins, Nightmoves (Kitsune), Padded Cell (DC), Pete Herbert (Reverso 68), Rory Phillips (Our Disco), The Oscillation (DC), The Romantic Motherfuckers (We Play Disco)

The last Days of Disco is a Be Events Ltd and And Now Hear This production.
